Great win for the boys yesterday. The rain before the start and during the first few heats made conditions difficult. The track was wet and grippy and buxton had problems with getting the tractor to start so that they could grade the track! Brilliant maximum from Gary, really sharp and determined from the gate, never looked liked getting beaten on a track that isn't his favourite. All the other lads chipped in with vital points especially on a track some had never riden before. Really good effort from all involved. Good luck for the long trip down to the Isle of Wight on Tuesday!

Great performance by the Saints yesterday. Conditions were very tricky, after a shower leading up to the start time (there was still a bit of light rain as the meeting started). The real turning point was the 5-1 in Heat 14. On paper, it looked like a 5-1 or 4-2 to Buxton, but Oliver Greenwood jetted from the start, and Ollie and Tommy (both riding at Buxton for the first time) then kept their heads, while the Buxton pair failed to keep composure and both fell. Tommy ended up beating Adam McKinna in Heat 14, having been lapped by him in Heat 7 (a race that saw Tommy fall and remount and get in all sorts of bother). How about that for a turnaround?
