Having recently watched our national team’s poor performance in the world cup I have come to the conclusion that despite currently having a good strength in depth within the country, this woeful display was purely down to poor team selection. Maybe it is time there was a change of team manager for Team GB. Somebody who can talk well with riders yet isn’t worried about upsetting promoters and the board of control. Fancy a job Rob?

Hi hulvik. A great idea, but I reckon the job would have to come with a tractor, roving mike and no jacket and tie. Years ago there used to have 3 match international chalange meetings, if this was re-instated then some of the up and comming riders could have international expereance before important meetings.

hi douglas,i agree it would be a great idea to have some international challange matches for the fringe riders it would give them experience at international level, hopefully we could get one at scunny ?

I'm sure that in the past there were also internationals for the under 21's as well . If these were reinstated it would be great way to see what standard the younger riders in the national league are upto as well
