Hi Rob, Please can you explain. On Friday I was one of the first to go through the turnstiles, when I got round to the stand near to the start line there where 9 adults sat eating. Speeking to them it came out in the conversation that they all had come in with Tyson Nelson and that he had got them all in as part of his entourage for nothing !! Can you afford to let this number of people plus others in for nothing?? and NO it is not sour grapes.

hy douglas,it is also very frustrating when you turn up 30 mins before the gates open to get your usual place in the stand that we have used since they were built, and find that 9 people have taken the space by coming in through the pits

Hi tyler, totally agree with you. Just another thought, 9 x £14 = £126.00 off Robs gate receits.

What is more annoying is that douglas and tyler were 30 seconds in front of me and because the Rye frebies were in their usual spot, douglas and tyler moved into our usual spot!!! lol.

it's annoying when your usual spot is taken I agree however as there is no way to reserve spots at any speedway ground i know of it a case of first come first served which i know that the other posters on this topic don't have a problem with when it's a level playing field but when some people are allowed to come into the ground via the pits well in advance of the turnstiles opening how can it be called a level playing field surely the easiest way to stop this is that only riders ,mechanics track staff and officials are allowed into the pits before the gates open and every body else goes through the turnstiles with no exceptions and if riders families and hangers on don't like it hard luck our track our rules

Hi hulvic. Great idea. If a track wants to allow a guest in with a rider and mechanic they could give them a pass to be given in at the turnstiles WHEN they open, and not let them in through the pits then everybody has a chance of their favorite spot. If you arrive late hard luck.

Hi I was aware of the people who came in last week and as I am the one who sorts out all the money on a race night I can assure you that Tyson did have a guest, but the other people who came in all paid on the pit gate. This does happen every week if a rider has more than one guest then the extra people he has always pays the guy on the pit gate and he in turn gives the money to me. Last year we did lose money as riders were getting people in for free so this year we said they could come in the pit gate, but if they are an extra guest then they pay as simple as that. Hope this explains the situation.
