After Fridays meeting with Glasgow and the one with Sheffield I have come to the conclusion that David Howe does not like to ride with Ryan Douglas! They had a comming together against Sheffield with David been excluded and again in heat 7 against Glasgow, this time Ryan was excluded. Also on Friday in heat 11 David went very close to Ryan forcing him off line resulting in him ending up in last place. Is this another rider in the team that is only riding for himself and not the team??

Dont think its a case of not liking someone, hes just a born racer and likes to win, and with david being out of action for quite a long time i think his track craft has yet to reappear, if you look on the bsf forum david has said sorry for what hes done and i applaud him. lets get behind the lads because they need all our support right now. also i wonder who you mean in your last comment? maybe dent his confidence too and replace him?

Interesting comments - Tho not sure who you'd have at 5 ? A fit and cinfident David Howe is a race winner and should be in the big races to get the points nailed. Thomas is probably the other likely candidate but scores very well at Two, Ash is capable now BUT is scoring for fun at 4 - who's be a team manager :/

Hi tj. I have just read what David put on the bsf forum, he says "not intentional to cause anyone to fall, it was just what I felt I needed to do to win the race". NO mention of looking for my team mate only What I felt I needed to win. SO causing a team mate to fall is ok as long as Scunthorpe win the heat? Sorry I must have got it all wrong as I always understood that speedway league matches was a team event. We all live and learn!

hi douglas,he also said he would leave room next time so we will see on friday, its just shows how comments can be read differently, you interpret one way and i another. by the way.. you didnt mention the other "non team rider"

what about swopping reserves over? i think heat 14 would be a stronger paring of ash and lewis, maybe more chance of a 5:1 or 4:2 which might reduce the need of a last heat decider or points in the bag?

I dont thing the problem of riders failing to team ride is just confinded to the Scorpions .Having watched matches from the continent as well as the elite league .It would appear that the art of team riding is dead in british speedway
