Must say I never expected a win of that magnitude... Fine performance by the boys, fingers crossed they've done enough.

I have to admit, i headed to the EWR today expecting a tight home win or a loss in all honesty, and in heat 3 when Hall ploughed into the air fence i thought oh dear here we go but I've learnt a valuble Lesson today never doubt the boys. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Cracking Stuff Guys.

Think loads of us felt that way before the meet Fozzie, I thought, poor lads they may be tired after the weekend but it just doesnt matter what we ask of them they always seem to deliver. Well done to everyone who has rode as a Scorpion this year....what a season...and what a fabulous set of lads, its been a thoroughly entertaining and exciting season......sad its almost over..............but is it? ?

My thoughts exactly like you guys who have already posted. What a meeting, couldn't of asked for anything better, simply THE BEST! Must admit I thought it was a big ask for you to win, but win you did, and what a win...Absoluitely FANTASTIC! Your a great bunch of lads, just a shame that through injury the full team weren't present, however thanks to our many guests this weekend, you've all helped our cause! Atmosphere at the EWR awesome tonight!

My concern was that, although I thought we'd win, I wasn't sure if we'd win by more than seven, to get the critical third point.
But it was an absolutely sensational performance by the boys.
MPT's 21-point max stands out, as does Josh getting a paid max despite still not being 100% fit.
But the whole team rode their hearts out. Gary Irving has machinery issues at the moment, but still rode with passion and got four points.
Ash described the whole team as buzzing and that "buzz" has extended to our guests, who have been brilliant over the weekend and given it everything. An example is Richard Hall yesterday, who took a nasty knock to his wrist in Heat 3, but carried on and was involved in two 5-1s later in the meeting.
Barring any strange results, we should have done enough to get through to the final, although speedway is a funny old sport and you can never be sure.
But whatever happens, they should be great pride in this year. The Scorpions are now up there with the big boys in the Premier League.

And Rob is brilliant on the mic - he really gets the whole crowd going.
The EWR was a noisy place last night. It's great for the riders when they can hear the crowd in the pits and as they're going around.

OMG can it get any better, just pure entertainment in every heat-were any video cameras getting all the action?
Absolute class every man jack of them guests and all. Some stunning passes ,some epic battles what a great advert for speedway. Hats of to you all.
Rob on the mic- he gets away with so much (does he warn the Refs in advance???),good entertainment and winds the crowd up to cheer the boys on all done in the best possible taste!!!
We so deserve to be in the final,so hope Comets and Monarchs cancel each other out to bring on the climax of the season. Still buzzin, hope more is to come.....

Having been at Workington on Saturday night I was confident of a big win. We would have taken a point at worky but for Gary seizing an engine and Richard's fuel pipe coming off, both on last laps. I wasn't impressed by the workington team and thought only Rene Bach could cause us problems. I didn't think they'd get thirty five but that was a poor effort with only Rene & Tero showing some spirit. Hoping they perform as badly at Armadale next week!

We need to find good air horns for the final ( If we get there) I got through 2, one for each of the last 2 home meetings ( play-offs ). More is wasted with gas running down the container and it stinks. I nearly gazed us all in the open stand. Anybody know where I can get a good one. Dont say Halfords. been there £20 + The cheap little ones dont even last a meeting, think there only intended for kids parties etc.

Totally agree that Rob is doing a great job on the mic however following his recent attemps to spell Scorpions when doing war crys is there any truth in the rumour that as from next season we'll be called the Stags
