Trip to Somerset and Pairs, 2013!

My family started to make our plans at the weekend for Somerset and Cardiff, 2013. It lead us to thinking that maybe other folk would like to join us for the weekend. We are currently working out a price for both meetings,....Pairs and GP.... a Friday night stop out and return coach travel. Furthermore we would be happy to take a deposit and then weekly or monthly payments from you into the fund to make it more manageable. Please pm me or see me at the track in the next couple of weeks. We need a commitment as we only have 10 months with Cardiff being 1st June next year.

Please note, this is a weekend break separate to anything that the supporters club may be arranging for next year.

Hi ju, did both meetings too and very enjoyable , but agree there must be a more cheaper, effective way of doing it cos I am down £300 over the weekend!!!

I just need an idea of how many may wish to go as to what size bus we need...obviously the largest outlay and cost.

It could be that people want to spend a while thinking about it whilst we want to get it sorted fairly quickly owing to the fact that Cardiff gets booked in most places a year in advance by most fans.

Hello Ju, Its certainly a good idea but its to late to book a reasonably priced hotel in Cardiff. Have you or would you consider a night stay near Somerset, travel to Cardiff on the Saturday and home after the GP.

Nobody will get a cheap price for reasonable hotel in the city centre-we were 4 miles out,stayed Friday night and got the train to Cardiff Central Station opposite the Millenium-less than £60 for two people ( booked 11 months in advance )

Yeah we could stay at either...there are some places available in Cardiff at the mo...we have checked.....but a stay in Somerset would be fine with a trip to Cardiff in the morning and yes the plan would be to come home after the GP.

Hi Ju, I wud b interested, got a hotel booked for cardiff the nite of the gp, but could do the rest of the trip with you, then come home on the train, let me know when you have an idea of prices

Jo Could you change the hotel night you have booked.( but not yet) I'm wanting to know about no's for Cardiff tickets. I'm hoping to get near you. You've got Me & Dans fav spot in the Stadium. I dont want to do what we did this year ,too much in one day. Especially because we couldn't get into the pubs after the GP because of the kiids . Fully understandable Fights do break out as we discovered. It does get rough, as was explained.

Hi June, maybe me bein a bit thick, but im not sure wot u mean I defo want to stay cardiff the nite of the gp, and dont want to cancel my hotel, as u know
, its a lovely hotel, got a good rate 2 but I wud like to go 2 the pairs, so i thought i cud travel on the bus to somerset, stop in whichever hotel can b booked for the friday nite, then i can stop in the hotel ive booked on the saturday nite, then come home on the train sunday evenin, like i did this year

Jo. I only thought it sounded expensive with rail, coach and hotel. I just thought if you was on the coach and stay on the FRi It would cut out the rail. But if you want the 2 nights. dont blame you for wanting to stay in that hotel. It was very nice, a lot nicer than the one we've stayed in last night in suffolk. You have got an excellent deal on both your GP ticket and Hotel. I hope Ju can get this sorted quickly so I can try for GP tickets near you. Defo not going where we were this time. See you Sunday x
