Rob... Are the student prices right?
As of this year, school leaving age has basically gone up to 18. This years school leavers have two options available, that's modern apprenticeships (where they receive a very, very small wage and are still required to spend much of their time at college) or secondly, they attend further education until the age of 18 (this is mandatory and is generally at their parents expense). I feel that you may end up losing one or two 16-18 year old supporters by asking £13/15 a meeting.

As a parent with a child at John Leggett College I too will find it hard to justify paying that sort of price for Student admission. Why not leave price at £5.00 for students up to 18 years of age, probably encourage more younger folk to attend rather than baulk at the price???

My lad is due to start at North Lindsey in August... new set of friends n all that, no doubt he'll try and entice a few along to speedway but I fear at those prices it'll put them off rather than encourage. Incidently Scun Utd charge between £5-9 for under 18s (depending on category of match).

Talking of students... Are we likely to have anyone videoing meetings this year? Maybe John Leggott/North Lindsey Media Departments could be approached to see if they could do it as part of a project.. it could create a bit of interest amongst students whilst at the same time raise a few funds for the college.. just a thought.

Thanks Rob and Gail, it makes a huge difference to us at this new price. From both of us who have followed Speedway at the EWR from its early beginnings to present day, we look forward to watching the Scorpions and Stags very soon.
Nice One!
