Can you please explain why after a rain off meeting before heat 5 an admittance fee is now asked for? I always understood that if a meeting was stopped before heat 6 then a free entry was possible for one of the next 3 meetings. Thanks.

Hi Seymourbut. I had a look in a programme and as you say its all there, does anyone know when this came about? Is it a new thing with all of the rain offs this year or did it come out at the start of the year . Just curious

Douglas,
I believe it was brought in last year. The adult admission price for abandoned meetings is standard across all tracks - I think it might even be in the speedway rulebook. It was a decision taken by the BSPA as a whole.
It means you pay for what you see. The old system was all or nothing, yes you might see 4 or 5 races for free, alternatively you could pay full price for just 8 races.
There is a little leeway for concessionary prices, and it was here that Rob Godfrey decided to allow all kids back in for nothing on production of the readmission ticket.
All the best Rob Peasley
