The tinsel is coming down and the Christmas lights are been packed away and across the country speedway fans are turning their thoughts to the coming season. So it’s time to make a few predictions for the 2014 season (Please note these are all tongue in cheek and not to be taken seriously)
1) Rob Godfrey is appointed the manger for the national team but only after agreeing to supply his own tractor, roving mic and ,overalls
2) Having suddenly realising there is a problem with their summer schedule Sky fill the huge hole left by speedway by televising dominos
3) In a charity tennis tournament Tai Woffinden draws Andy Murray and beats him
4) Len Silver proclaims the track at Scunthorpe is one of the best in the country
